近日，云南省首个燃气调峰发电项目——楚雄燃气发电项目获得核准，这是全国首个高海拔地区9H级燃气调峰项目，实现云南大型燃气发电项目零的突破。

Recently, the first gas peak-load power generation project in Yunnan Province - the Chuxiong Gas Power Generation Project - has been approved. This is the first 9H-level gas peak-load project in a high-altitude area across the country, marking a breakthrough in large-scale gas power generation projects in Yunnan.

楚雄燃气发电项目位于楚雄高新技术产业开发区，拟建设2台70万千瓦级（9H级）燃气—蒸汽联合循环发电调峰机组。

The Chuxiong Gas-fired Power Generation Project is located in the Chuxiong High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It plans to build 2 700,000-kilowatt (9H level) gas-steam combined cycle power generation peak-load adjustment units.

相较于传统燃煤机组，该机组具备启停速度快、调峰能力强、碳排放低、运行灵活等优势，可有效适配风电、光伏等新能源间歇性、波动性发电特征，是新型电力系统重要的支撑性、调节性电源。

Compared with traditional coal-fired power plants, this unit has the advantages of fast start-up and shutdown, strong peak regulation capability, low carbon emissions, and flexible operation. It can effectively adapt to the intermittent and fluctuating power generation characteristics of new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaic power, and is an important supporting and regulating power source in the new power system.

项目建成后，将为云南省清洁能源消纳、电网安全稳定运行注入全新动能，助推云南省新型电力系统建设再迈新步伐。

After the project is completed, it will inject new impetus into the consumption of clean energy in Yunnan Province and the safe and stable operation of the power grid, further promoting the construction of the new power system in Yunnan Province.
