The concrete of the lower reservoir panel began pouring on March 2, 2024, and after 44 days of high-intensity construction, the pouring was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the next step of water storage acceptance work. The power station is a major energy project in the national "13th Five-Year Plan", with an installed capacity of 1.4 million kilowatts. After completion, it can reduce raw coal consumption by 118,000 tons per year and reduce carbon dioxide by about 310,000 tons. It will become an important support project for "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" in the central region.
