Project Background:

该气分装置原设计能力为18万吨/年,丙烯塔采用200层F1浮阀塔盘。改造前,气分装置运行良好,最大实际处理能力可达20万吨,丙烯塔分离效果良好,但当处理能力超过20万吨/年时,丙烯塔分离效率开始明显降低。

The original design capacity of this gas separation unit was 180,000 tons per year. The propylene tower adopted a 200-layer F1 floating valve tray. Before the renovation, the gas separation unit was operating well, with the maximum actual processing capacity reaching 200,000 tons. The separation effect of the propylene tower was good. However, when the processing capacity exceeded 200,000 tons per year, the separation efficiency of the propylene tower began to significantly decrease.


由于聚丙烯价格的上涨,用户希望将气分装置的处理能力提高到27万吨/年。根据中石化北京院的总体核算情况,需对脱丙烷塔和丙烯塔进行改造。经过技术比较,用户决定采用ADV®浮阀塔盘技术对脱丙烷塔和丙烯塔进行改造,要求丙烯塔达到如下指标:丙烯产量10545kg/h,丙烯纯度99.6mol%,丙烷纯度92mol%。

Due to the increase in the price of polypropylene, the users hope to increase the processing capacity of the gas separation unit to 270,000 tons per year. According to the overall calculation by Sinopec Beijing Institute, the depropane tower and propylene tower need to be renovated. After technical comparison, the users decided to adopt the ADV® floating valve tray technology to renovate the depropane tower and propylene tower. The requirements for the propylene tower are as follows: propylene output of 10,545 kg/h, propylene purity of 99.6 mol%, and propane purity of 92 mol%.

ADV®浮阀塔盘一对一更换原浮阀塔盘:

(1) 增大降液管面积,采用倾斜式降液管;

(2) 采用鼓泡促进器,促进液体鼓泡,同时增加塔板开孔率;

(3) 采用新式塔板连接结构,进一步提高塔板开孔率;

(4) 采用平受液盘,增大两相流动空间;

(5) 中间受液盘采用独特的T形梁支持结构;

(6) 丙烯塔进料位置优化。

Replace the original float valve trays with ADV® float valve trays one by one:

(1) Increase the area of the downcomer and adopt an inclined downcomer.

(2) The use of a bubble booster device promotes liquid bubbling and simultaneously increases the porosity of the trays.

(3) Adopting a new type of tower plate connection structure further increases the opening rate of the tower plates.

(4) Use a flat liquid receiving plate to increase the space for two-phase flow.

(5) The intermediate liquid receiving plate adopts a unique T-shaped beam support structure;

(6) Optimization of the feed position in the propylene tower.


运行结果:

装置于2001年1月开车,开车后马上达到设计处理量27万吨/年,且最大处理能力达到28.8万吨/年。丙烯塔不仅处理能力提高,塔板效率也明显提高,塔顶丙烯纯度99.7%以上,塔底丙烷纯度99.8%(改造前只有95%)。

The equipment was put into operation in January 2001. Immediately after startup, it reached the designed processing capacity of 270,000 tons per year, and the maximum processing capacity reached 288,000 tons per year. The propylene tower not only improved its processing capacity, but also significantly enhanced its plate efficiency. The purity of propylene at the top of the tower was over 99.7%, and the purity of propane at the bottom of the tower was 99.8% (before the renovation, it was only 95%).


按2004年的生产情况计算,每年可多产丙烯3.9万吨。装置扩能改造的投资回收期不超过3个月。

Based on the production figures of 2004, an additional 39,000 tons of propylene can be produced each year. The investment recovery period for the expansion and renovation of the facility is no more than 3 months.


该塔是迄今泽华公司核算效率最高的丙烯塔。

This tower is the most efficient acrylonitrile tower in terms of operation efficiency that Zehua Company has ever built.
