湖北荆门京山孙桥镇500千伏京源（荆门东）变电站成功投产送电，这是“十五五”期间湖北省投运的首座500千伏变电站。

The 500-kilovolt Jingyuan (Jingmen East) Substation in Sunqiao Town, Jingshan County, Jingmen City, Hubei Province has been successfully put into operation and power transmission. This is the first 500-kilovolt substation to be put into service in Hubei Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.

“十五五”期间，湖北钟祥东部、京山南部及西部将集中开发134万千瓦以风电为主的新能源项目，500千伏京源变电站的投运为其接入湖北大电网提供了条件，为长江中游经济带绿色发展奠定基础。

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, concentrated development of renewable energy projects, primarily wind power, will take place in the eastern part of Zhongxiang, eastern Hubei, as well as the southern and western regions of Jingshan. The commissioning of the 500-kilovolt Jingyuan substation provides the conditions for integrating these projects into Hubei's large power grid, laying the foundation for the green development of the Yangtze River Middle Reaches Economic Belt.

500千伏京源变电站位于“荆楚门户”荆门市，地处“西电东送”主要通道，是三峡、葛洲坝等水电站和荆门电厂三期电力转送的重要节点。

The 500-kilovolt Jingyuan Substation is located in Jingmen City, the "gateway of Hubei Province", and is situated on the main route of "West-to-East Power Transmission". It is an important node for the power transmission from the Three Gorges Dam, Gezhouba Dam and other hydropower stations, as well as the third-phase power transmission of Jingmen Power Plant.

本期变电站输出的两条500千伏输电线路终点位于武汉玉贤变电站。500千伏京源变电站为湖北经济发展再添动能的同时，也成为新时代“九州通衢”的重要电力支点。

The two 500-kilovolt transmission lines output by this substation terminate at the Wuhan Yuxian Substation. The 500-kilovolt Jingyuan Substation not only boosts the economic development of Hubei Province but also becomes an important power node in the new era's "trunk road connecting all regions".

据悉，500千伏京源变电站本期投运2组容量为1000兆伏安的变压器，新增供电容量可将荆门电网供电能力由190万千瓦提升至340万千瓦，不仅优化了湖北中部电网供电结构，更消除了荆门市域电网供电能力的制约瓶颈，可满足该地区“十五五”“十六五”期间经济发展的供电需求。

It is reported that the 500-kilovolt Jingyuan Substation will put into operation 2 sets of transformers with a capacity of 1000 megavolt-amperes this year. The newly added power supply capacity can increase the power supply capacity of Jingmen Power Grid from 190 million kilowatts to 340 million kilowatts. This not only optimizes the power supply structure of the central power grid in Hubei Province, but also eliminates the bottleneck of power supply capacity in the power grid of Jingmen City. It can meet the power supply demands for economic development in this region during the "15th Five-Year Plan" and "16th Five-Year Plan" periods.
