According to data released by the press office of Russian Railways (RZD) on July 14, as reported by the Russian Oil and Gas Information Agency (ИА Нефтегаз.РУ), from January to June 2026, the total coal transportation volume by Russian Railways (RZD) reached 166 million tons, an increase of 1.8% compared to the same period last year. Among this, the coal export supply volume reached 93.9 million tons, an increase of 6.1% compared to the same period last year.

6月份，俄罗斯铁路煤炭运量大幅增加，当月铁路煤炭运量达2760万吨，同比增长11.1%。其中，煤炭出口装运量为1690万吨，同比增长19.6%。

In June, the coal transportation volume of Russian railways increased significantly. The railway coal transportation volume for that month reached 27.6 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 11.1%. Among this, the coal export loading volume was 16.9 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 19.6%.

What is worth noting is the coal loading volume in the eastern direction. The data shows that in June, the coal export transportation volume in the eastern direction reached a record high of 10.7 million tons. As the railway department pointed out, this figure is 9.1% higher than that in June 2025, 59.9% higher than that in June 2016, and 220% higher than that in June 2011.

6月份，包括俄罗斯国内耗用煤炭的铁路运输数量在内，通过西伯利亚大铁路和贝阿铁路向东发送的煤炭总量为1350万吨，比去年同期增长6.7%。

In June, the total amount of coal transported eastward via the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Aleutian Railway, including domestic coal consumption in Russia, was 13.5 million tons, an increase of 6.7% compared to the same period last year.

根据铁路部门的数据，6月份煤炭运输占铁路货物运输总量的比重为30.6%，比去年6月的比重高出2.8个百分点。上半年的煤炭运输量占货物运输总量的比重为30.3%。

早前报道的消息，2026年上半年，俄罗斯铁路的货运总量为5.489亿吨，比上年同期下降1%。其中，6月份货物运输总量为9020万吨，同比增长1%。

数据还显示，6月份，俄罗斯铁路运往各方向港口的煤炭数量达到1550万吨，同比增长24.2%。其中，运往远东港口的煤炭数量达960万吨，同比增长14.4%，运往南部港口240万吨，同比增加1.7倍，运往西北港口370万吨，同比增长31.9%。

The data also shows that in June, the amount of coal transported by Russian railways to various ports reached 15.5 million tons, an increase of 24.2% year-on-year. Among them, the amount of coal transported to ports in the Far East was 9.6 million tons, an increase of 14.4% year-on-year; the amount transported to southern ports was 2.4 million tons, an increase of 1.7 times year-on-year; and the amount transported to northwest ports was 3.7 million tons, an increase of 31.9% year-on-year.
