截至当天收盘，纽约商品交易所9月交货的轻质原油期货价格上涨3.95美元，收于每桶82.13美元，涨幅为5.05%;10月交货的伦敦布伦特原油期货价格上涨4.17美元，收于每桶87.72美元，涨幅为4.99%。

As of the close of trading on that day, the price of the September delivery of light crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $3.95 to $82.13 per barrel, an increase of 5.05%; the price of the October delivery of Brent crude oil on the London Mercantile Exchange rose by $4.17 to $87.72 per barrel, an increase of 4.99%.

根据美国能源部的数据，8月份战略石油储备减少了610万桶，库存降至2.987亿桶，创下1983年以来的最低纪录。据悉，与其他国家一样，美国一直在释放储备原油，以弥补中东战事引发的供应中断。特朗普政府曾在3月份下令释放1.72亿桶储备，旨在稳定全球市场。
