When it comes to the contact with the Iranian side, Trump said: "Our negotiations are progressing very smoothly. The Iranian side is reluctant to admit it. You know, this is indeed a bit embarrassing. You just said to the outside world that we had a good talk, but then someone from the Iranian side jumped out and said 'We haven't even met'. This is pure nonsense. They actually wanted to reach an agreement."
