These measures were aimed at empowering the development and transformation of old oilfields.

辽河油田开展CCUS综合高效利用等7项新质生产力建设工作，推动稠油保持规模稳产、稀油和高凝油积极上产，页岩油革命寻求新突破。落实风光电储热综合能源高效利用等任务，打造天然气300万吨当量产业格局，奋进新能源产量当量75万吨标油目标。

Liaohe Oilfield has launched seven new types of production capacity enhancement projects including CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) comprehensive efficient utilization. These efforts aim to maintain stable production of heavy oil at a large scale, promote the active production of light oil and high-viscosity oil, and seek new breakthroughs in shale oil revolution. Tasks such as the efficient utilization of wind, solar, electricity and thermal storage for comprehensive energy have been implemented. A 3 million tons equivalent natural gas industrial pattern has been established, and the goal of achieving 750,000 standard barrels of oil equivalent in new energy production has been set.

在基础研究方面，辽河油田依托精细地质研究等4项战略创新工程，开展“八古”基础理论等6项原始创新，抢占绿色低碳开发等5个科技发展制高点。在重点领域关键核心技术攻关方面，以页岩油上产等6项战略创新工程为核心载体，创新突破薄层稠油难采储量动用、CCUS注采调控等技术。

In terms of basic research, Liaodong Oilfield has relied on four strategic innovation projects such as detailed geological research to carry out six original innovations including "Eight Ancient Systems" basic theories, and has seized five technological development commanding heights such as green and low-carbon development. In key core technology research and development in key fields, with six strategic innovation projects such as shale oil production as the core carriers, innovative breakthroughs have been made in technologies such as the exploitation of thin-layer heavy oil and the regulation of CCUS injection and production.
