7月21日，山西省统计局发布数据显示，今年上半年，山西省持续加大非常规天然气增产增供力度，总产量达到100.5亿立方米，同比增长12.4%，创下历史同期最高纪录。这是山西省推进能源革命综合改革试点、加快建设非常规天然气基地取得的又一标志性成果。

On July 21st, the Statistics Bureau of Shanxi Province released data showing that in the first half of this year, Shanxi Province continued to intensify efforts to increase the production and supply of unconventional natural gas. The total output reached 10.05 billion cubic meters, an increase of 12.4% year-on-year, setting a new historical record for the same period. This is another landmark achievement of Shanxi Province in promoting the comprehensive reform of the energy revolution and accelerating the construction of unconventional natural gas bases.

非常规天然气是清洁低碳能源的重要组成部分，包括页岩气、致密砂岩气和煤岩气等。近年来，山西将非常规天然气增储上产作为能源保供和绿色转型的重要抓手，产量连年攀升。

Unconventional natural gas is an important part of clean and low-carbon energy, including shale gas, tight sandstone gas and coalbed methane, etc. In recent years, Shanxi has regarded increasing the reserves and production of unconventional natural gas as an important means for energy supply security and green transformation, and the output has been continuously rising year by year.

产量快速增长背后，是关键技术持续突破。目前，山西省已构建起以煤与煤层气共采国家重点实验室为龙头，省级技术创新中心与企业研发平台紧密协同的三级创新体系，钻井、压裂、排采等核心环节实现技术革新，深层煤层气商业化开发、采煤采气一体化等模式成功示范应用，资源开采效率大幅提升。

Behind the rapid growth in production is the continuous breakthrough of key technologies. Currently, Shanxi Province has established a three-level innovation system with the National Key Laboratory for Coal and Coalbed Methane Co-production as the leading institution, and the provincial-level technological innovation centers and enterprise R&D platforms working closely together. Technological innovations have been achieved in core links such as drilling, fracturing, and drainage, and successful demonstrations and applications of models such as commercial development of deep coalbed methane and integrated coal mining and gas extraction have been realized, significantly improving the efficiency of resource extraction.

与此同时，山西持续推动不同层系、不同深度非常规天然气资源高效开发，加快管网互联互通。全省已建成6个年产量10亿立方米以上的大气田，天然气长输管道里程达到9477公里，基本实现县域全覆盖，居民用气便捷性显著增强。

Meanwhile, Shanxi Province has been continuously promoting the efficient development of unconventional natural gas resources at different layers and depths, and accelerating the interconnection of gas pipelines. The province has built 6 large gas fields with annual production capacity of over 1 billion cubic meters. The length of long-distance natural gas pipelines has reached 9,477 kilometers, basically covering all counties, significantly enhancing the convenience of gas supply for residents.

据悉，2025年全省非常规天然气产量达182.3亿立方米，同比增长8.9%。今年上半年突破100亿立方米，延续了快速增长的态势，进一步夯实了山西作为国家非常规天然气基地的地位，为国家能源安全提供了重要保障。

It is reported that the total unconventional natural gas production in the province will reach 18.23 billion cubic meters in 2025, an increase of 8.9% compared to the previous year. In the first half of this year, it exceeded 10 billion cubic meters, maintaining a rapid growth trend. This has further strengthened Shanxi's position as a national unconventional natural gas base, providing an important guarantee for national energy security.
