这项工程是韩国向美国承诺的3500亿美元投资计划中首个确定的项目。相关官员说，恩西纳尔项目旨在满足得州日益增长的电力需求。

This project is the first definite project in the 350 billion US dollar investment plan that South Korea has promised to the United States. Relevant officials said that the Ensinar project aims to meet the increasing electricity demand in Texas.

目前，当地半导体工厂和人工智能（AI）数据中心正快速扩张。消息人士说，韩国政府拟推进的第二和第三个项目，分别是在美国建设八座大型核反应堆，以及在阿拉斯加开发一个液化天然气项目。

Currently, local semiconductor factories and artificial intelligence (AI) data centers are expanding rapidly. Sources say that the second and third projects that the South Korean government intends to promote are respectively the construction of eight large nuclear reactors in the United States, and the development of a liquefied natural gas project in Alaska.

对于大型核电站建设项目，韩国产业通商资源部称，政府正与美方围绕韩方收购西屋电气5至10%股份的事宜进行谈判。

For large-scale nuclear power plant construction projects, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea stated that the government is currently negotiating with the US side regarding the matter of South Korea acquiring a 5 to 10% stake in Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
