Recently, Pakistan has accelerated the purchase of spot LNG in order to cope with the disruption of long-term contract supplies from Qatar due to the blocked shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

国有巴基斯坦LNG公司近日发布了近两周内第二份现货供应招标，拟采购一船7月交付的LNG。

The state-owned Pakistan LNG company recently issued its second spot supply tender in the past two weeks, aiming to purchase one shipload of LNG to be delivered in July.

此前的7月9日，由于卡塔尔一船原定于本月下旬抵达的LNG货物被取消，巴基斯坦已紧急采购了一船7月15日至16日交付的现货。

On July 9th, previously, due to the cancellation of a shipment of LNG that was originally scheduled to arrive in the latter part of this month by a ship from Qatar, Pakistan urgently purchased a spot shipment to be delivered from July 15th to 16th.

巴基斯坦7月现货采购量达至少4船，创下自2月28日伊朗战争爆发以来单月最高纪录。

In July, Pakistan's spot purchase volume reached at least four ships, setting a new monthly record since the Iranian war broke out on February 28th.

此次采购压力源于霍尔木兹海峡通行几近停滞，连日来已无LNG运输船驶出该海峡。历史上巴基斯坦LNG近乎全部依赖卡塔尔长期固定合同供应，冲突爆发后供应持续受阻。

The current procurement pressure stems from the near-complete halt of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. For several consecutive days, no LNG carriers have been able to leave this strait. Historically, Pakistan's LNG has been almost entirely dependent on long-term fixed contracts from Qatar for supply, and the supply has been continuously disrupted since the conflict broke out.
