The Korkay gas storage facility of the Tarim Oilfield, hailed as the "first gas storage facility" for winter supply in southern Xinjiang, has achieved a cumulative gas supply of over 400 million cubic meters during the winter supply period, reaching 407 million cubic meters. The continuous supply of natural gas is passing through the pipeline network to provide a solid energy barrier for the people's lives and industrial production in cities like Kashgar and Hotan.

柯克亚储气库是塔里木盆地首座投运的气藏型储气库，承担着南疆区域季节调峰和应急供应的使命。自2023年开启首轮注采以来，已历经3轮注采周期。去冬今春，面对寒潮频发、民生用气需求持续攀升的“双重考验”，柯克亚储气库从容应对，以硬核科技守护万家温暖。

The Kekyay Storage Gas Field is the first gas reservoir-type storage gas field to be put into operation in the Tarim Basin, and it is responsible for seasonal peak regulation and emergency supply in the southern Xinjiang region. Since the first round of injection and production began in 2023, it has gone through three rounds of injection and production cycles. In the winter and spring of this year, facing the "double test" of frequent cold waves and the continuous increase in domestic gas demand, the Kekyay Storage Gas Field responded calmly and safeguarded the warmth of millions of households with cutting-edge technology.

在本轮冬季保供中，柯克亚储气库全面推行“无人值守＋定时巡检＋远程监控”的智能管控模式，实现100％数字化覆盖。在肉眼看不见的几千米地下，先进的国产光纤监测技术如同“神经末梢”，实时感知着井下的温度、压力与工况变化，让储气库的每一次“呼吸”都精准可控。

During this round of winter supply support, the Kirkya gas storage facility has fully implemented an intelligent management model of "unattended operation + regular inspections + remote monitoring", achieving 100% digital coverage. Several thousand meters beneath the earth, the advanced domestic optical fiber monitoring technology acts like "nerve endings", constantly sensing the temperature, pressure and operational conditions underground, ensuring that every "breath" of the gas storage facility is precisely controllable.

塔里木油田通过科学统筹、精准调度，推行“夏季间歇注采、冬季连续采气”的排液扩容模式，为每口单井定制优化方案，最大程度提升了储气库的空间利用率和采气效率。

Through scientific planning and precise scheduling, the Tarim Oilfield has adopted the "intermittent injection and production in summer, continuous gas production in winter" fluid discharge expansion mode. It has customized optimized plans for each single well, maximizing the space utilization rate and gas production efficiency of the gas storage reservoir.

据了解，在本轮采气期，柯克亚储气库连续多日保持在150万立方米以上高位运行，日最大采气量达220万立方米。其供应量占喀什、和田、克孜勒苏柯尔克孜自治州冬季保供总气量的22％。这些清洁能源经南疆天然气利民工程管网，化作汩汩暖流，直达千家万户的燃气灶台和工业用户的车间厂房，有效缓解了冬季用气高峰的压力。

It is known that during this gas extraction period, the Kokyaz Storage Gas Field maintained a high operation level of over 1.5 million cubic meters for several consecutive days, with the maximum daily gas extraction volume reaching 2.2 million cubic meters. Its supply volume accounted for 22% of the total gas supply for winter supply security in Kashgar, Hotan, and the Kizilsu-Karakorak Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang. These clean energy sources, through the South Xinjiang Natural Gas Benefiting People Project pipeline network, transformed into a continuous stream of warmth, reaching the gas stoves of thousands of households and the workshops and factories of industrial users, effectively alleviating the pressure of the peak winter gas demand.

In the control room of the Kirkya Processing Station (Kirkya Oil and Gas Operation Center), manager Qin Xueliang closely watched the real-time fluctuating data on the screen and said, "For us, these are not just numbers; they are the warmth and coldness of thousands of households. Ensuring that every cubic meter of natural gas can be safely and smoothly delivered is our most sincere promise to the people of South Xinjiang."

目前，塔里木油田正持续开展柯克亚储气库的技术攻关，并建立了完善的注采切换投产技术规程，确保储气库在注采转换中实现安全高效、响应迅速。这座肩负重任的“第一气仓”，正以最快响应速度实现指令产量目标，为保障国家能源安全和区域民生用能持续贡献着科技与担当的力量。

Currently, the Tarim Oilfield is continuously conducting technological research on the Kokkaya gas storage reservoir and has established a complete set of operation procedures for switching between injection and production. This ensures that the gas storage reservoir can achieve safe and efficient operation as well as quick response during the conversion between injection and production. This "first gas storage tank" is responding to instructions at the fastest speed to achieve the target production volume, continuously contributing the power of science and responsibility to safeguard national energy security and regional people's energy supply.
