近日，毕节市纳雍县生活垃圾焚烧发电厂正式并网发电。走进发电厂，操作员操作设备精准地把生活垃圾送入焚烧炉，垃圾稳定燃烧，热量转换成电能并入南方电网并网发电。

Recently, the Nanyong County Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant in Bijie City has officially been connected to the power grid for operation. When entering the power plant, the operators precisely operate the equipment to send domestic waste into the incinerator. The waste burns steadily, and the heat is converted into electricity which is then connected to the Southern Power Grid for grid-connected power generation.

“发电厂每天可处理生活垃圾500吨，每年可以处理生活垃圾18.25万吨，年发电量可达7000万千瓦时。”纳雍县生活垃圾焚烧发电项目总经理李峰说。

"The power plant can process 500 tons of domestic waste every day and 182,500 tons of domestic waste annually. The annual power generation capacity can reach 7,000 million kilowatt-hours," said Li Feng, the general manager of the Nanyong County Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project.

据了解，生活垃圾通过垃圾发电厂“变废为宝”，省去转运环节费用，每吨垃圾可节约处置成本56.2元，每年节约800多万元。

It is known that domestic waste can be transformed into valuable resources through waste power plants, eliminating the need for transportation costs. Each ton of waste can save disposal costs of 56.2 yuan, and this results in an annual savings of over 8 million yuan.
