据中国石化报消息，中国石化顺北油气田历经十年规模勘探开发，累计生产原油941万吨、天然气115亿立方米，油气产量当量达1860万吨，今年前8个月油气产量同比保持箭头向上。

According to the report of China Petrochemical, the Shunbei Oilfield of China Petrochemical has undergone a decade of large-scale exploration and development. It has produced a total of 9.41 million tons of crude oil and 11.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas, with an equivalent oil and gas production of 18.6 million tons. In the first eight months of this year, the oil and gas production has maintained an upward trend compared with the previous year.

顺北油气田地处塔里木盆地中西部，油气藏具有超深、高温、高压、高含硫化氢等特点，储层平均埋藏深度超7300米。2016年8月，中国石化宣布在塔里木盆地顺北地区勘探取得重大商业发现，顺北油气田由此迈入规模勘探开发阶段。

The Shunbei Oilfield is located in the central-western part of the Tarim Basin. The oil and gas reservoirs have characteristics such as extreme depth, high temperature, high pressure, and high hydrogen sulfide content. The average burial depth of the reservoirs exceeds 7,300 meters. In August 2016, Sinopec announced a significant commercial discovery in the Shunbei area of the Tarim Basin, and thus the Shunbei Oilfield entered the stage of large-scale exploration and development.

2022年8月，中国石化命名顺北油气田为“深地工程·顺北油气田基地”，这是我国首个以“深地工程”命名的油气项目，被誉为“深地一号”。

In August 2022, Sinopec named the Shunbei Oilfield as "Deep Earth Project - Shunbei Oilfield Base". This is the first oil and gas project in China to be named after "Deep Earth Project", and it is hailed as "Deep Earth No.1".
