近日，自然资源部中国地质调查局发布“中国地质调查局2025年度地质调查十大进展”，由中国地质调查局联合湖北省地质局等多家单位协同攻关的“鄂西地区二叠系大隆组和栖霞组实现工业气流突破”成果入选。

Recently, the Ministry of Natural Resources and the China Geological Survey released the "Top Ten Geological Survey Achievements of the China Geological Survey in 2025". The achievement "Industrial gas flow breakthrough in the Dalong Formation and Qixia Formation of the Western Hubei Region was achieved through collaborative research by the China Geological Survey and several other units" was selected.

据介绍，我国页岩气资源丰富、分布面积广，但由于地质构造复杂，目前进行商业性、大规模页岩气勘探开发的区域主要集中在四川盆地或其边缘。此次在鄂西的页岩气找矿成果，开拓了非常规气新区域，实现页岩气勘查从四川盆地向鄂西地区的有效拓展。

It is reported that China has abundant shale gas resources and a wide distribution area. However, due to the complex geological structure, the areas currently undergoing commercial and large-scale shale gas exploration and development are mainly concentrated in the Sichuan Basin or its surrounding regions. The shale gas prospecting results in western Hubei Province have opened up new unconventional gas areas and enabled the effective expansion of shale gas exploration from the Sichuan Basin to the western Hubei region.

其中，鄂西二叠系大隆组成功获得日产5.06万立方米的工业气流，意味着鄂西二叠系大隆组页岩气已具备工业开采价值。“这一发现开创了大隆组勘探新区域，实现了鄂西地区非常规油气勘探重大突破，将为同类型页岩气的勘探开发带来无限可能。”湖北省地质局第七地质大队队长郑琪介绍。

Among them, the Dalong Formation of the Western Hubei Permian Series has successfully achieved an industrial gas flow rate of 50,600 cubic meters per day, indicating that the shale gas in the Dalong Formation of the Western Hubei Permian Series has reached the level of industrial exploitation value. "This discovery has opened up new exploration areas for the Dalong Formation and achieved a major breakthrough in unconventional oil and gas exploration in the Western Hubei region. It will bring unlimited possibilities for the exploration and development of similar shale gas," said Zheng Qi, the team leader of the Seventh Geology Team of the Hubei Geological Bureau.

据了解，中国地质调查局武汉地质调查中心和湖北省地质局自2013年开始在鄂西开展页岩气勘探工作，实现了多个层系页岩气的突破。目前，鄂西地区二叠系两套层系在鄂西地区分布面积达到上万平方公里。

It is known that the Wuhan Geological Survey Center of the China Geological Survey and the Hubei Provincial Geological Bureau have been conducting shale gas exploration in western Hubei since 2013, achieving breakthroughs in shale gas in multiple formations. Currently, the distribution area of the two stratigraphic sequences of the Permian System in western Hubei has reached tens of thousands of square kilometers.

目前，该队正在加速推进鄂西页岩气的系列重点项目，依托鄂恩页2HF井重大勘探发现，计划在恩施新增部署3至4口页岩气参数井，圈定规模化整装页岩气有利靶区，夯实恩施页岩气重点突破区建设基础。在此基础上，湖北省地质局将加强与武汉地调中心、省自然资源厅、恩施州等政府单位和相关部门的协同，加快勘查成果转化落地，推进页岩气矿权竞争性出让、区块规划布设等工作，推动地质勘查成果快速转化为可开发、可利用的实物资源储量。

Currently, this team is accelerating the implementation of a series of key projects related to shale gas in western Hubei. Based on the significant exploration discovery made at the Ongenjie 2HF well, it plans to add 3 to 4 shale gas parameter wells in Enshi, delineate large-scale and integrated shale gas favorable target areas, and lay a solid foundation for the construction of the key breakthrough area of shale gas in Enshi. On this basis, the Hubei Provincial Geological Bureau will strengthen collaboration with the Wuhan Geological Survey Center, the Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Enshi Prefecture, and other government units and relevant departments. It will accelerate the transformation and implementation of exploration results, promote the competitive allocation of shale gas mining rights, and the planning and layout of blocks. This will facilitate the rapid conversion of geological exploration achievements into exploitable and usable physical resource reserves.
