9月27日，从中国石油获悉，位于山西吕梁的三交北区块新增煤层气探明地质储量超千亿立方米，标志着我国深层煤层气勘探开发又迈出关键一步。

On September 27th, China National Petroleum Corporation announced that the Sanjiao North block in Luliang, Shanxi Province has newly discovered a geological reserve of over 100 billion cubic meters of coalbed methane, marking another crucial step forward in the exploration and development of deep coalbed methane in China.

三交北区块地处鄂尔多斯盆地东部，连片含气面积411.5平方千米，煤层埋深1900米至2150米，属于典型的深层煤层气。

The Sanjiao Bei block is located in the eastern part of the Ordos Basin. The area with gas reserves covers an extensive area of 411.5 square kilometers. The coal seam burial depth ranges from 1900 meters to 2150 meters, and it is a typical deep coal seam gas deposit.

中石油煤层气公司副总地质师张雷表示，公司克服了地质条件复杂等困难，构建钻井、压裂、投产全链条体系，在鄂尔多斯盆地深层煤层气国家备案探明储量已累计超过4000亿立方米。

Zhang Lei, the deputy geologist of China National Petroleum's Coalbed Methane Company, stated that the company overcame difficulties such as complex geological conditions and established a complete chain system for drilling, fracturing and production. The cumulative national-registered proven reserves of deep coalbed methane in the Ordos Basin have exceeded 400 billion cubic meters.

深层煤层气是指储藏在埋深超过1500米煤层中的天然气，属于非常规天然气。与常规天然气相比，深层煤层气埋藏深、地质条件复杂，开采技术门槛高。

Deep coalbed methane refers to the natural gas stored in coal seams with a burial depth exceeding 1500 meters. It is classified as unconventional natural gas. Compared with conventional natural gas, deep coalbed methane is buried deeper, has complex geological conditions, and has a high technical threshold for extraction.

截至2025年底，我国深层煤层气累计探明地质储量已超过1万亿立方米。据专家预测，到2035年，我国深层煤层气年产量将达到400亿至500亿立方米，将成为继致密气、页岩气之后，我国最现实的天然气上产接替资源。

By the end of 2025, the cumulative geological reserves of deep coalbed methane in China have exceeded 1 trillion cubic meters. According to experts' predictions, by 2035, the annual output of deep coalbed methane in China will reach 40 to 50 billion cubic meters, becoming the most realistic alternative natural gas production resource for China after tight gas and shale gas.
