6月15日晚间，中国石油化工股份有限公司（以下简称“中国石化”）公告，为维护公司价值及股东权益，增强投资者信心，拟通过集中竞价交易方式回购A股股份，回购金额不低于5亿元且不超过10亿元，回购价格不超过7.55元/股。

On the evening of June 15th, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Sinopec") announced that in order to safeguard the company's value and shareholders' rights and interests, and to enhance investor confidence, it intends to repurchase A-share stocks through centralized competitive trading. The repurchase amount will be no less than 500 million yuan and no more than 1 billion yuan, and the repurchase price will not exceed 7.55 yuan per share.

此次回购资金来源为中国石化自有资金与回购专项贷款。实施期限为自董事会批准本次回购股份方案之日起不超过3个月。按照回购价格上限测算，本次预计回购股份数量在6622.52万股至1.32亿股之间，对应股份占中国石化总股本的比例为0.05%至0.11%。

The funds for this share repurchase come from the company's own resources and a special loan for the repurchase. The implementation period is no more than 3 months from the date when the board of directors approves the share repurchase plan. Based on the upper limit of the repurchase price, the estimated number of shares to be repurchased is between 66.2252 million and 132 million, corresponding to a proportion of 0.05% to 0.11% of the total share capital of Sinopec.

公开资料显示，截至一季度末，中国石化总资产为2.26万亿元，归母净资产8331.37亿元，现金和现金等价物944.33亿元。按此次回购上限10亿元测算，回购资金约占中国石化总资产的0.04%、归母净资产的0.12%、现金和现金等价物的1.06%。

Publicly available information shows that as of the end of the first quarter, Sinopec's total assets amounted to 2.26 trillion yuan, its net assets attributable to the parent company were 833.137 billion yuan, and its cash and cash equivalents were 94.433 billion yuan. Based on the upper limit of this repurchase of 1 billion yuan, the repurchase funds accounted for 0.04% of Sinopec's total assets, 0.12% of its net assets attributable to the parent company, and 1.06% of its cash and cash equivalents.

中国石化表示，此次回购的股份将在披露回购结果暨股份变动公告后的三年内予以注销。本次回购方案实施完成后，不会对公司生产经营活动、财务状况、债务履行能力和未来发展产生重大不利影响。

Sinopec stated that the repurchased shares will be cancelled within three years after the announcement of the repurchase results and changes in shareholdings. After the implementation of this repurchase plan, it will not have any significant adverse impact on the company's production and operation activities, financial situation, debt performance ability and future development.
