从贵州乌江能源黔南抽水蓄能有限责任公司获悉，5月8日，黔南抽水蓄能电站下水库大坝顺利封顶，为如期下闸蓄水打下坚实基础。

It has been learned from Guizhou Wujiang Energy Qiannan Pumped Storage Co., Ltd. that on May 8th, the lower dam of the Qiannan Pumped Storage Power Station was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the scheduled closure of the dam and water storage.

黔南抽水蓄能电站总装机容量150万千瓦，总投资达96.4亿元，是目前西南岩溶地区投资及装机规模最大、水头最高的已建及在建抽水蓄能电站，项目计划2029年建成，投产后将进一步优化贵州多能互补能源结构。

The Qiannan Pumped Storage Power Station has a total installed capacity of 150 megawatts and a total investment of 9.64 billion yuan. It is currently the largest and highest-head pumped storage power station under construction and in operation in the karst region of Southwest China. The project is planned to be completed in 2029. After its commissioning, it will further optimize the multi-energy complementary energy structure of Guizhou.

该项目自2024年12月主体工程开工以来，各参建方努力克服复杂岩溶地区地下水丰富、地质条件复杂、山势陡峻等多重挑战，先后完成筹建工程“七洞一路”贯通、主体工程开工、下水库截流等重大节点任务。

Since the main construction of this project began in December 2024, all the participating parties have endeavored to overcome multiple challenges such as abundant groundwater in the complex karst area, complex geological conditions, and steep mountainous terrain. They have successively completed major milestones such as the connection of the "seven tunnels and one road" for the preparatory work, the commencement of the main construction, and the interception of the lower reservoir.
