The world's largest integrated photovoltaic and wind power energy project - the Huadian Longdong Multi-energy (photovoltaic, wind, thermal power, and energy storage) complementary comprehensive energy base has risen here. With 450 million kilowatts of wind power and 150 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power, the wind and light on the Loess Plateau are transformed into over 12 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity. Through the "Longelectricity Entering Shandong" project's ultra-high voltage lines, it is sent to the industrial powerhouse Shandong Province, equivalent to replacing nearly 5 million tons of coal consumption and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 11 million tons, injecting strong green momentum into the industrial transformation of the eastern region.


一场“天不时、地不利”的极限突围

A desperate and challenging final push despite unfavorable timing and conditions


该项目地处毛乌素沙漠边缘、黄土高原沟壑区的甘肃庆阳环县,为传统农牧业生产大县。全县9236平方公里土地,90%以上被黄土覆盖,分布着17364条沟壑、527块残塬和859架山梁,降水量少,土壤质地疏松,保墒差,常处于干旱状态。

This project is located in Huan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, at the edge of the Mu Us Desert and in the loess plateau gully area. It is a traditional agricultural and pastoral production county. The entire county covers an area of 9,236 square kilometers, with over 90% of the land covered by loess. There are 17,364 gullies, 527 residual hills and 859 mountain ridges distributed throughout the area. The precipitation is scarce, the soil texture is loose, moisture retention is poor, and the region is often in a state of drought.


西北的朔风和暴雨共同雕刻出环县千沟万壑的独特地貌,也为这里带来了充沛的风光资源,成为三类风能资源区和二类太阳能资源区。“和平原、沙漠项目相比,这里的挑战几何级增长。”华能陇东能源有限公司工程部副总经理王航表示,沟壑纵横不仅意味着上下坡度陡,更意味着翻山越岭的距离被无限拉长,为项目建设平添了巨大挑战。为了确保叶片、机舱等风机大部件顺利通行,项目累计新修了一千多公里的场内道路——这相当于从北京到南京的直线距离,创下了国内最长场内转运道路的纪录。

The northerly cold winds and heavy rains jointly shape the unique landform of Huan County, featuring numerous gullies and ravines. They also bring abundant natural resources here, making it a type-3 wind energy resource area and a type-2 solar energy resource area. "Compared with projects in plains and deserts, the challenges here have increased exponentially," said Wang Hang, the deputy general manager of the Engineering Department of Huan Dong Energy Co., Ltd. The crisscrossing gullies not only mean steep up-and-down slopes but also imply an infinitely extended distance for crossing mountains and passing through valleys, adding huge challenges to the project construction. To ensure the smooth passage of large components such as blades and nacelles of wind turbines, the project has newly built over 1,000 kilometers of on-site roads - equivalent to the straight-line distance from Beijing to Nanjing, setting a record for the longest on-site transportation roads in China.


“平原项目平均一个月可以吊装4-5台机组,而这里一个月平均只能吊1.8台。”王航坦言,建设难度高、窗口期短,迫使资源投入必须打破常规。远景能源为项目按1:1的比例配置了转运车和主吊车——这意味着每一台风机都有一台转运车和主吊车随时待命。“不管凌晨还是半夜,只要有需求,设备和人员马上到位。在‘天不时’、‘地不利’的前提下,远景能源的建设者们用远超寻常的资源投入、灵活合理的交付计划与最大化的工作效率,把‘人和’做到了极致,最终保障了这个创造多项行业纪录的项目顺利交付。”

"The Plain project can install an average of 4-5 units per month, while here it can only install 1.8 units on average per month." Wang Hang admitted that the construction was highly challenging and the window period was short, which forced the resource allocation to break away from the conventional approach. Yanshen Energy configured transfer vehicles and main cranes in a 1:1 ratio for the project - this meant that for each wind turbine, there was a transfer vehicle and a main crane ready to be deployed at any time. "No matter in the early hours of the morning or in the middle of the night, as long as there was a demand, the equipment and personnel would be immediately available. Under the circumstances of 'weather not being favorable' and 'terrain unfavorable', the construction team of Yanshen Energy used far more resources than usual, a flexible and reasonable delivery plan, and maximum work efficiency to achieve the 'harmony' to the utmost extent. Eventually, this ensured the smooth delivery of this project that set multiple industry records."


134台风机的“万里长征”

The "long journey" of 134 wind turbines


在项目现场,放眼望去是无边无际、支离破碎的黄土丘壑。所谓的“路”是依山开凿的便道,一侧是陡峭的黄土崖壁,另一侧就是深邃的沟壑,弯急坡陡,每一步都考验着运输车辆的极限性能和驾驶员的胆识。重型卡车轰鸣着,在雪后硬滑的黄土坡道上艰难爬行。长达99米的叶片,在“九曲十八弯”的山道上挪移,每一次转弯都如同一次精密的“外科手术”,需要前后车精准配合。

At the project site, the view stretches out as an endless and fragmented landscape of yellow soil ridges. The so-called "road" is a makeshift path carved out of the mountainside. One side is a steep yellow soil cliff, and the other side is a deep ravine. The turns are sharp and the slopes are steep, each step testing the limits of the transport vehicles and the courage of the drivers. Heavy trucks roar as they struggle to crawl on the slippery yellow soil slopes after the snowfall. The 99-meter-long blades move along the "nine twists and eighteen turns" mountain road. Each turn is like a precise "surgical operation", requiring precise coordination between the front and rear vehicles.


远景能源集群经理孙晓鹏对这场硬仗记忆犹新——E1、E2区块134台风机交期紧张、供货压力巨大;山地地形复杂、运输倒运车辆一度不足;阵雨反复冲毁道路,运输路线和分界点屡次变更……

Sun Xiaopeng, the cluster manager of Yansheng Energy, still vividly remembers this tough battle - the delivery deadlines for 134 wind turbines in the E1 and E2 blocks were tight, and the supply pressure was immense; the mountainous terrain was complex, and there was a shortage of transportation and handling vehicles at one point; repeated showers washed away roads, and the transportation routes and boundary points were frequently changed...


但远景遍布全国的供应网络成了最坚实的后盾。来自武威、酒泉、巴盟、株洲、楚雄的叶片,来自武威、巴盟的主机,从四面八方日夜兼程汇聚环县。专为项目组建的交付团队像一支作战部队,在一次次抢通道路、调度车辆、协调吊装中,硬生生啃下了这块硬骨头。

However, the nationwide supply network with a broad reach has become the most solid support. Blades from Wuwei, Jiuquan, Ba'ing District, Zhuzhou, and Chuxiong, as well as mainframes from Wuwei and Ba'ing District, all converged in Huanxian from all directions day and night. The delivery team specially formed for the project was like a combat unit. Through repeatedly clearing blocked roads, dispatching vehicles, and coordinating hoisting operations, they successfully tackled this tough challenge.


2023年6月,C1、A2、A1三个区块开工,2025年6-8月,三个区块顺利并网,创下两个月并网238台风机的行业最快并网纪录。截至2026年2月中旬,三个区块已累计发出11.36亿千瓦时绿电。2025年5月E1、E2区块开工,2026年4月6日全部吊装完成。在建设与并网的关键节点,业主单位的表扬信纷至沓来。

In June 2023, the C1, A2, and A1 blocks began construction. From June to August 2025, all three blocks successfully connected to the grid, setting a record for the industry with 238 wind turbines connected within two months. As of mid-February 2026, the three blocks had cumulatively generated 1.136 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity. In May 2025, the E1 and E2 blocks began construction, and all the equipment was completed and lifted in April 2026. At the critical stages of construction and grid connection, letters of praise from the owner unit were pouring in.








定制化风机:给黄土高原的“最优解”

2025年5月正式开建的E1、E2区块平均风速仅5.5米/秒,属于典型的低风速区。远景为此量身定制了EN-200/5.56智能风机,单位千瓦扫风面积达5.65平方米/千瓦,以“大风轮、大兆瓦”的设计思路,在同等发电量水平下减少风机台数,从而加快项目进度、降低道路改造与征地成本。这些风机的大部件国产化率达100%,叶片、发电机、变频器均已实现国产替代,并获得国内外第三方权威认证机构的设计认证和型式认证。

The E1 and E2 blocks, which officially started construction in May 2025, have an average wind speed of only 5.5 meters per second, making them a typical low wind speed area. In response to this, Envision has specially developed the EN-200/5.56 intelligent wind turbines. The swept area per kilowatt of these turbines is 5.65 square meters per kilowatt. With the design concept of "large rotor, large megawatt", they reduce the number of wind turbine units while maintaining the same power generation level, thereby accelerating the project progress and lowering the costs of road renovation and land acquisition. The major components of these turbines have a 100% domestic production rate. The blades, generators, and frequency converters have all achieved domestic substitution and have received design certification and type certification from authoritative third-party certification institutions both at home and abroad.

作为全球最大的风光同场新能源项目和我国首个千万千瓦级多能互补综合能源基地,华能陇东多能互补综合能源基地项目包含600万千瓦风光新能源项目、调峰煤电项目,配套建设全球规模最大燃煤电厂CCUS示范工程和60万千瓦/240万千瓦时电化学储能项目,旨在全面打造“清洁主导、多能互补”的千万千瓦级综合能源基地。“光随风动、风光同场”的创新设计,既解决了山地光伏坡度大、选址分散的难题,更实现了土地资源的集约化利用,成为新能源项目连片开发的示范样板。
