At the Puguang Gas Gathering Station of the Puguang Gas Field in Zhongyuan Oilfield, the produced water after being treated by the enhanced negative pressure gas lift desulfurization technology is clear and meets the standards. It is being continuously transported to the downstream. "This technology, which we have independently optimized, has a desulfurization efficiency of over 97%. It is both environmentally friendly and economical!" Liu Erxi, an anti-corrosion process expert from the Gas Gathering Plant of the Puguang Branch, pointed at the gas lift tower with pride.


普光气田产出水中含有高浓度硫化物,不仅容易堵塞管线、腐蚀设备,若处理不当还有环境污染风险。随着气田持续开发,产出水水质发生显著变化,碳酸氢根离子含量大幅增多,产出水水型逐渐转化为碱性,导致传统脱硫工艺效率下降、处理成本攀升,急需更高效经济的解决方案。

The produced water from the Pujiang gas field contains high concentrations of sulfides, which not only easily clog pipelines and corrode equipment, but also pose environmental pollution risks if not properly treated. As the gas field continues to be developed, the quality of the produced water has undergone significant changes. The content of bicarbonate ions has increased significantly, and the water type of the produced water gradually turns alkaline, resulting in a decline in the efficiency of traditional desulfurization processes and an increase in treatment costs. Therefore, more efficient and cost-effective solutions are urgently needed.


为此,普光分公司组建攻关团队,在传统气提技术基础上进行系统性优化升级,形成“增强型负压气提脱硫”新工艺。该工艺通过建立塔内负压环境,大幅提升了硫化氢分离驱动力,同时采用PVDF(聚偏氟乙烯)高流环填料替换传统陶瓷填料,使气液交换效果提升了30%,脱硫反应更充分。此外,团队还对盐酸加注流程进行优化,实现pH值精确控制,在提升脱硫效果的同时,有效缓解了设备腐蚀与结垢风险。

To address this issue, the Pujiang Branch Company established a research team and carried out systematic optimization and upgrading based on the traditional gas stripping technology, resulting in a new process called "Enhanced Negative Pressure Gas Stripping Desulfurization". This process creates a negative pressure environment within the tower, significantly enhancing the driving force for separating hydrogen sulfide. At the same time, it replaces the traditional ceramic packing with PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) high-flow ring packing, which improves the gas-liquid exchange effect by 30% and ensures more thorough desulfurization reactions. Additionally, the team optimized the hydrochloric acid injection process to achieve precise pH control, thereby enhancing the desulfurization effect while effectively mitigating the risks of equipment corrosion and scaling.


该工艺成功应用后,产出水脱硫效率较改造前提升20%,预计每年节约除硫药剂成本约128万元。该成果已荣获中国能源化学地质工会职工优秀技术创新成果二等奖,有效破解了气田产出水脱硫效率低、成本高、管线腐蚀等难题,为普光气田绿色、高效、可持续开发提供了有力的技术支撑。

After the successful application of this process, the desulfurization efficiency of the produced water has increased by 20% compared to before the renovation. It is estimated that the annual cost of sulfur removal chemicals can be saved by approximately 1.28 million yuan. This achievement has won the second prize for outstanding technological innovation results of the Chinese Energy, Chemistry and Geology Union for Workers. It effectively solved the problems of low desulfurization efficiency, high cost and pipeline corrosion of the produced water from the gas field, providing strong technical support for the green, efficient and sustainable development of Puguang Gas Field.
